M2 Machines 1965 Ford Falcon Club Wagon

So I learned something new today.  Here I thought that this casting was a Ford Econoline van, when in fact it is called the Ford Falcon Club Wagon.  The difference between the two is that the Econoline was the cargo panel van whereas the Falcon Club wagon was an eight passenger window van.

The Ford Falcon Club wagon was introduced in 1961 to complete with the Chevy Corvair Greenbriar sports wagon.

The M2 Machines casting has some nice details like chromed bumper and wheel covers.

Unlike other M2 Machines, this casting doesn't have any opening doors which is a shame as it would have been nice if the side doors had opened up to reveal the interior.

It shows nicely except for the paint flaw over the driver side wheel well.  Kind of sucks when you consider how expensive this model is and yet the quality assurance is still lacking.

The 1965 Ford Falcon Wagon is the new casting from the Auto-Trucks lineup, release 34.
